Tigger (Tiger Lily)
Tiger Lilly (Tigger) was my first dog. She was the firstborn of a litter of 13 Great Dane x German Shepherd pups. She was given to me as a High School graduation present. Since I lived on the farm where she was born, we bonded early and completely. Through all the good times and bad times over the next 12 years, we were inseparable. On March 7, 1983 a car lost control on black ice and she was killed instantly as she was heeding my call to come in from "last out" for the night.
Those who knew Tigger unanimously agree that she was one of the kindest and smartest dogs ever to walk the face of the earth. I know she is up there, across the Rainbow Bridge, watching out for those who have followed her into my life.
